COVID-19 Resources

Chase families.

I hope this message finds you safe and in continued good health.  The staff and I really miss seeing all the students.  As we begin our continuity of learning on Monday, April 6th, I have attached important information that includes our teacher's email addresses and office hours along with resources to assist with accessing Schoology and Google Meet if you have online capabilities. Teachers have been trying to contact all parents this past week.  If your contact information has changed or you have not received email communication, please use the document that is attached to obtain the email address of your child’s teacher and send them a message with updated contact information. Teachers will be providing specific information regarding class meetings, office hours, Google Meet sessions and specifics regarding new learning.  In addition, resources are attached that provide tips and information you can refer to as you navigate the continuity of learning at home.

Student work packets are being sent to homes via UPS to the address on file.  All students in elementary school with use the packets for the next three weeks of learning.  BCPS has been working around the clock over the weekend to prepare the packets for shipment.  Packets should arrive to homes throughout the week.  Please notify your child’s teacher when you have received the packet so we can keep track and follow up with support.  In the meantime, teachers will post the weekly content of the packet on Schoology so students can access materials beginning Monday until paper packets arrive.  Student packets are also available for download on the BCPS website by utilizing the following link:  Several vendors are offering free internet access during this closure including Xfinity's temporary offer for those eligible:
